I've read through the answers on the meme now. Very interesting. Good to get to know you all. Sorry if I didn't comment individually on yours. Like I said, a little overwhelmed. But a few of you mentioned that you'd like to see my answers. So here they are.
And now I'm wishing even more than I hadn't been lazy about the questions. Because some of these are not ones I'd have asked if I'd actually taken the time to edit instead of copying wholesale.
1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
A.No. Never have been.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. To be "a doctor, a daddy, and a fix-it man," just like my dad.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. I'm not sure. I wish I was better at social interaction, particularly RL.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Diet soda. I don't drink alcohol, I hate the taste of water, and I have to be careful about sugar intake. Although I do also enjoy strong tea.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Broccoli. Especially when steamed with carrots. Boring, but delicious.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. Currently rereading "Cordelia's Honor," by Lois McMaster Bujold. Before that... I had a pile from the library. I don't remember exactly what was in it. And I've also got a bunch of comic books.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Gemini. Not that I put any stock in that whatsoever.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Nope. Not for me.
9) Worst Habit?
A. Hey, what do I look like, a nun? ... Oh, well there's your answer. Punning.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. That would be difficult. Because I'm answering myself here. But, in general... not for strangers. But yes, for friends.
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. I'm not much for sports, but I do enjoy playing and watching hockey. (I can't skate, though. But I had fun with the non-skating variety, back in the day. Played indoors on a smooth floor with a ball instead of a puck.)
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. Depends. I try to stay optimistic about things, but the last few years have worn me down.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Depends on whom we're talking about here. And how I was feeling at the time. I'd like to try to be entertaining. Help pass the time, keep people happy.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. My immune system. (Not that I'm ungrateful for the brilliant work it's done keeping anything else from making me sick, mind you.)
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. I suck at answering this kind of question. (Almost tempted to leave that as my answer.) Oh, right! As a child, my parents gave me an encyclopedia set for my birthday. I made it my bedtime reading for the next several months, going through it cover to cover and volume to volume. A to Z and beyond to the supplemental books.
16) Do you have any pets?
A. We've got a dog. An adopted golden retriever.
17) What if i showed up at your house unexpectedly?
A. Well, that'd be very confusing. Because, as mentioned, I'm answering myself here. But I'd welcome a friend.
18) What was your first impression of me? (hmmm...careful!)
A. Hey, listen. Stop asking me weird and confusing questions. I mean, I don't even remember back that far!
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
A. I like clowns. I seem to be in the distinct minority on that.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. Besides losing weight, which should be within my power? Be nice to have my hair back. Even if it's been gone for most of my life and I don't even remember what it was like having it in the first place.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. I'd like to say crime partner, but I've discovered to my frustration and vague shame that in reality I'm Lawful Good.
22) What color eyes do you have?
A. Brown.
23) Ever been arrested?
A. Nope.

A. Can. Tastes better that way. Although that probably means I'm drinking aluminum oxide.

A. Invest. I'm boring that way.

A. No.
