A. Yes; well, I'm in two serious relationships — I'm not monogamous.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. To be with children, to help them learn and grow, and it still is.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Many, but lately, most importantly, social skills. The ability to find a happy medium between not talking to people enough, and talking to them too much; the ability to know the difference between someone criticising me and someone joking.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. depends; in the UK, a Coke/Pepsi. In the States, a root beer or Mountain Dew. (I prefer the latter two, but you don't get them here.)

A. Tomatoes.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. I've been reading Stranger in a Strange Land for months; it's currently buried under a mountain of Stuff in my bedroom at my mum's house and not really accessible, though. The last book I finished was Fever 1793, an utterly fascinating story of the Plague that hit Philadelphia in (surprise, surprise) 1793. I bought it at Philly airport on my way home and finished it as I landed in London; took me about 10 hours altogether.

A. Leo
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Five piercings; my labret (centre lower lip), three in my ear lobes (two in the left, one in the right) and my left nostril. No special reason; I just like piercings.
Two tattoos planned but not done yet: the infinity symbol on the nape of my neck - I identify with non-monogamy/polyamory which is sometimes also known as "infinite love" - that, and the infinity symbol is quite pretty. Also, the bisexual/transgender symbol on the inside of my left wrist, with the words "love counts more" wrapped around the outside, and possibly a heart inside.
9) Worst Habit?
A. I'm too panicky and given to asking people if I've done something to annoy them far too often.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. Given that I'd be walking, too... (I don't drive; can't, and can't learn — I have no binocular vision which means I can't judge depth or speed and generally makes me a terrible driver. If I was driving and offered you a lift, you'd be wise to refuse *grin*)
11) What is your favourite sport?
A. I suppose trampolining, or cycling. I don't really do sport.

A. I try to be optimistic, but it doesn't always happen.

A. Complain about it being stuck. Or knit. Or both.

A. I don't really know. I'm not sure I'd actually formed an impression of you; I don't really know you very well yet.

A. Just plain weird.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. I'd have a more toned bodyshape. I'm not so fussed about being thinner; I quite like my shape, but I don't like the wobbly bits. (I'd look odd with the equivalent muscle to what I have wobbly bits on my arms and thighs, so they'd have to shrink a bit, but apart from that...)

A. Your conscience.

A. When I'm indoors, mostly hazel, but if it's dark, dark brown, and if it's artificially light, hazel. Outdoors in the sun, amber.

A. Depends on the bottle. If it's a plastic bottle, I'd take a can. If it's glass, the bottle.

A. Give some to worthy organisations (the IWW, the Open Rights Group, NO2ID and Macmillan Cancer Care), save the rest and use the interest payments to pay off my debts for a while.

A. To be an English professor. I was a nerdy kid.

A. Singing. I'm not a horrible singer, but I've always dreamed of having a really beautiful voice, and I just don't.

A. Ooh, that's tough! - I'd say fresh blanched spinach. In a little lemon & butter.

A. Quiverfull: Inside the Christian Patriarchy Movement. It isn't up on my GoodReads yet as I finished it late last night. In retrospect it was mostly a waste of my time, though it was a little like a car crash (you can't look away).

A. Yes. A branch of cherry blossoms on my belly; the word 'truth' surrounded by a laurel wreath on my left shoulder blade. My left nostril is pierced with a gold star (and then of course my ears). I used to have many more piercings but I removed them. I'm considering getting my other nostril pierced as well, though, and I've got more tattoos planned.

A. Fiddling with my nose stud. It looks gross - like I'm picking my nose - which I kind of am.

A. Yes! I've been dating someone I met in the Secular Alliance at my university for the past 7 months. It's definitely the best relationship I've ever been in, and I hope it lasts for a really long time.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. Oh, I had a lot of dreams! I wanted very badly to be a writer, but I never really thought that would be my main job. For a long time I wanted to go into archaeology, then astrophysics, then Doctors Without Borders in my more philanthropic years. None of these things are what I'm doing now.

A. That's difficult. Probably the fall of 2007 when I started taking a new psychiatric medication that really fucked me up and I had to drop a bunch of classes and basically spent the entire semester sequestered in my room going crazy. A. That's a toss up. You could say being born 4 months premature was quite a bad thing because of all the medical crap. Personally I would say that having my jaw screwed up was the worst because the only thing I've ever wanted to do is become a great saxophonist and get paid for it. A. A bit of both. I'm very hard on myself because I always want to excel in whatever I do. I usually think I can be the best at anything which is far from the truth. Lately though my optimism has waned a bit. I still have confidence in others.

A. Sometimes I do really dumb and kind of childish things just to get a laugh out of someone. Like.. put a laundry basket on my head and walking around the house. When my friend's dad was in the hospital I got on to his computer and drew a completely cracked out drawing of a polka-dotted monster with a cactus on his head, an alien in his mouth with a laser gun, and all sorts of other weird things. It looked like a toddler drew it so I scrawled out "[Friend's Name] : Age 5" on it and made it his desktop wallpaper. The really weird thing is that I'm incredibly shy.. so you can imagine how this comes off to others.

A. Yes! Happily married to my husband of almost 2 years.

A. To simply grow up so I would stop being teased/harassed/tormented. As a teenager I wanted to be a special eduction teacher, but a summer of doing similar work at a day camp for special needs children made me realize I needed to think about doing something else as a career. Falling in love with an accounting class (with an awful teacher) gave me my current career path!

A. Physical grace and social skills.
