When I was a toddler, we lived in Atlanta, where summer hurricanes were fairly common. I don't remember back that far, but there's a good chance that one went over our house in the time after I was born but before we moved north.
Pranks? Nothing I can really recall that well, and nothing that interesting. I just remember that when I was a kid, Mom used to take me (sometimes with my best friend) to the magic/joke shop. Sometimes I'd pick things up. I remember one time I got stink bombs (no idea how, since Mom didn't really approve of the things), and my friend convinced me to hide them in Mom's underwear drawer. Luckily, she found them before they broke open.
I got other prank stuff (soap with a dye center, etc), but never really used it. I probably did pull some gags, but I don't really remember the details.
Oh, I guess there were a couple of drink-related ones. Pretty boring in the telling, though. Once, Mom asked me to get her a drink, but left it up to me what to get. So I poured her a Sprite and told her it was seltzer. So she got all ready for the bitter taste and got Sprite instead. Real big gag, right? *g*
There was also a restaurant we used to go to that offered free refills. You buy a soda, and you can put as much of whatever you want in it. So my sisters and I had a game where we'd get refills for each other, but make up these really random mixes (root beer with orange soda and a splash of grape, for example). We'd try to be as evil and random as possible with it, then make the recipient guess what was in it.

Sorry to disappoint.
