1. I still have a Dreamwidth invite. Who wants? Claimed!

2. It turns out that as spiffy and awesome as the new (and freshly improved) Dreamwidth crossposter may be, it's not smart enough to catch you when you typo your own LJ username. For shame! I must submit a bug report this instant!

ETA: It does, however, work smoothly when you put in the correct username!

ETA2: And I can enable the thingy that disables LJ comments and posts a link to the DW entry. Which is a handy feature, but not one that I think I'll be using for now. So let's edit it back out, shall we?

That's handy if you don't want your comments to the same entry on different sites but might annoy people who only use one service... which is why I probably wouldn't use it, TBH.

Already gave her one. I remembered seeing a comment from her about that. But I got two invites, so I still have one available. :) Thanks for pointing that out, tho. :)

And yeah, it might annoy people. And I still have most of my friends on LJ. Except that they can still post comments in your DW, if they're willing to use OpenID.

Yeah, it DID annoy people on my LJ flist. I was like, I'm only testing it! I have no idea if I'm even going to crosspost, and I'm not sure I would want to make it comment-on-DW-please even if I did. I was just playing...

Yeah, I think I managed to explain it a bit, I just tend to be full of enthusiasm and not very explain-y and people get all confused. It was OK in the end.
