For those who hadn't heard (it's kind of old news), Obama bought half an hour of primetime.

Wed. Oct 29 8:00-8:30pm on CBS and NBC.

I don't know what he's planning to do with it. I don't know how he's planning to fill all that time. I don't know whom he expects will watch. I don't know how much good it'll really do.

Personally, I'm curious enough that I'm planning to tune in. Not sure if I'll watch the whole thing. That'll depend on what it is. But I thought it was worth mentioning, in case any of you (in the US) are curious, too.

lol, he's preempting this week's ep of the new Knight Rider, but I can't say I have any complaints there...

As for Pushing Daisies... This is why we have the ability to record one channel and watch another... ;)

Finally managed to watch it. It was good, but a little too sweet and glossed-over. Very positive, though. And... nothing said that isn't laid out at barackobama.com. More there, actually. They tried to cover a lot in 30 minutes, and that didn't leave much room for depth.

But hey, 33mil+ viewers. That's impressive. Over 10% of the population. I didn't think an extended commercial would get that kind of viewership.

My class was cancelled, so I actually did end up being able to watch it. Pretty much agree with you! I suppose it was a decent use of campaign funds that need to be spent.
