Just saw Indy with Mom. Good movie!

(No spoilers below. Just impressions.)

A little like a fanfic, though. A little too aware of its own iconography. (With no evidence whatsoever, I place full blame on Lucas.) A little too much of "Of course he can do that! He's Indiana Jones! It's what he does!" That sort of thing.

But still... it was a good ride. Good flow, lot of fun, lot of humor, lot of action.

And I'm not fond of the story behind the skulls. (Even Indy himself agreed...)

But oh well. Fun movie! Just sit back, don't think about it too much, and enjoy the ride.

Yep, that's pretty much what I thought, too. ;) It was good and totally worth seeing, but... totally not Iron Man good. *giggles*

it was fun, but not worth the money i paid to see it in theater. i had researched the skulls months ahead of time just to try to figure out what the plot was going to be. i still cant decide if i like the way they handled that or not. (indy's a sci fi now? seriously!)
