A. Yes. Married 14 years.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. Can't remember one "dream." I think the life I have is probably pretty close, though.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Musical. Alas I have no musical talent at all.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Before 4 p.m.? Coffee. After 4 p.m.? Wine.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Not sure. I like a lot of them pretty well. Maybe asparagus though.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. Murder Must Advertise by Dorothy Sayers. Finished it last night.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Libra.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Pierced ears - one piercing each, and I didn't do those until I was in my 30's.
9) Worst Habit?
A. Probably procrastination/general laziness.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. If I knew it was you, of course.
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. To watch, football or maybe golf. To play, none.
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. Um, I'm a big worrier, so probably negative. My brain can't seem to help but run through alarming possibilities and fret over them.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Freak out. No offense, of course, but I'm claustrophobic and getting stuck in an elevator is one of my "worst nightmare" scenarios.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. Probably hasn't happened yet, thank goodness. I’ve been very blessed.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A.Can’t think of a thing. I’m very boring, actually.
16) Do you have any pets?
A. Two dogs, one cat, one rabbit.
17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly?
A. I'd be delighted to invite you in, but then I'd spend time privately worrying about whatever mess there was, though I'm sure you'd be too nice to notice it anyway.
18) What was your first impression of me? (hmmm...careful!)
A. I think my first contact with "you" was actually with your stories on the archive, long before you knew I existed. I loved the variety of your stories - that some were humorous, some were touching, and some were just delightfully quirky. So I guess my impression of you was that you were those things, too :).
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
A. Definitely scary.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. Probably my weight.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. Oh, definitely your conscience, though I can’t quite imagine you needing one. But I’m a complete goody-two-shoes.
22) What color eyes do you have?
A. Hazel.
23) Ever been arrested?
A. Heavens, no. See #21.
24) Bottle or can soda?
A. I hardly ever drink soda, but I prefer a bottle when I do.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
A. Probably something boring and practical, like put a new roof on the house. What I’d like to do is take my kids on a cool trip somewhere.

A. Home with my family.
28) Do you believe in ghosts?
A. Have never had a personal experience that would lead me to believe in them, but I guess I’m not prepared to totally discount the possibility. “There are more things in heaven and earth...” etc.
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
A. Write.
30) Do you swear a lot?
A. Nope.
31) Biggest pet peeve?
A. Other people’s lateness. I’m compulsively on-time and hate being forced to wait around on people who can’t be bothered to make the same effort.
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?
A. Introverted.

A. Sure. What’s not to like?

A. Absolutely.
