Meant to go to bed around 11. Didn't get to sleep until 1. Partly because I was goofing off. Partly because a friend had had a really bad day and needed to talk. Woke up at 3:30. AHI 0.7. Didn't manage to get back to sleep until 5:30. Woke up at 9:30. Total AHI 6.6. Not good.
Partly, it could be that I had to take some caffeine to get through yesterday, after the poor sleep from the night before. But I also had a high blood sugar. I should have thought to check that at 4am. I felt overstuffed around 9pm, but my bedtime sugar was normal. I guess it just took a while to digest.
Never got a call back from the CPAP people. I called again yesterday and was told they get back to you in 24 hours. I pointed out that it had been 24 hours since my previous call, and I was assured that they'd call me that day. I gave them my cell number again. Twice. Nothing.
I tried adjusting my CPAP myself. I kept the current settings but told it that it could automatically adjust the pressure up a few notches if it sensed I needed it. Unfortunately, I set the trigger to low instead of high, thinking that low meant a low threshold for when to adjust. Turns out I got that backward. Put it to medium (the default setting) for tonight. We'll see if that helps.
