See, it's a picture of my niece, and my sister doesn't like the idea of having family pictures (particularly pictures of the kids) posted publicly online.
Here's the thing: I went to this site called ucrystal. They do 3D laser crystal engraving. Send them a picture, and their software will convert it into a 3D image. Then a laser machine will etch that image (in 3D) inside a crystal. (I thought it was going to be lucite, like the one I'd bought a few years back of the Wright Flyer, but it turned out to be actual glass crystal.) You pick the crystal and the orientation, and they'll work with you on the layout. You can add text, too, at no extra charge.
Their prices are good. I got great customer service, too - prompt, personal email replies. The whole process was very quick. The crystal came out looking great. Oh, and they're based in California, so it's made in the USA (even if the machine they use was made in China).
Can't wait to give it to her. She's going to be amazed. This will make a very cool and memorable keepsake for her birthday.
