My nephew is highly active. He's intelligent and imaginative. He can go from quietly drawing by himself to cheerful, heedlessly destructive dervish and back in an instant. He can spend hours playing by himself, dreaming up new things, setting up an elaborate toy, making up stories. He has a love of adventures in space. He has a penchant for making up or altering the rules as we play. He's larger than life. He can ask the most unexpected questions, and has his own unique view of the world.

He now has his heart set (with no reason given for the choice) on my making him a stuffed tiger.

I shall name it Hobbes.
