A couple of Superman-related video links, thanks to a recent Cracked article:
I'd heard of the Superman broadway musical before, but I'd forgotten that they'd adapted it for TV. Turns out it's on YouTube, and it's... uhm... well, it's there. You kind of have to see it for yourself.
(ETA: Seems the TV special was rather different from the original musical. Bob Holiday, who starred on Broadway, has a website with some music clips, a newsreel from the show (in which Superman trounces an old man at chess, reads Little Women to someone who can't escape, ruins a little girl's birthday party, and shows off his trophy wall), and video from a guest appearance on "I've Got A Secret". Well worth checking out.)
In the same general category (weird, almost inexplicable Superman adaptations you kind of have to see for yourself), I'd seen the clip from the Indian Superman rip-off where he flies around and dances with his girlfriend, who is, for some reason, in a Spider-Man costume, but it's been a while and I figured I could link it again.
