1. I created two new Dreamwidth communities! I've never created or managed a community before. Wish me luck.

These are in no way official, but...

dwrocks is for anything and everything about why Dreamwidth rocks.

dwstones is for things about Dreamwidth that are... less than perfect.

2. I've kicked off dwrocks with an entirely unofficial slogan contest. Two chances to win three months of paid time!

3. I am posting this via Semagic to both Dreamwidth and Livejournal! Until the DW crossposter comes live, I think this will be my main method of posting. Assuming it works properly...

4. I have three two one DW invite codes! Get 'em while they're hot! (Comment here. Priority given to people who are actually on my flist/circle.)

Huh. Important lesson from IM:

"Echolocate" refers to the process of gathering data via sound waves, as dolphins, bats, and submarines do. It does not refer to some new and cool way to send virtual sweets (e-chocolate).

(Ironically, I'd have known the word if I'd heard it. Just haven't read it in ages...)
