So: Romney picks Ryan as his running mate. Romney's plan is to raise taxes on the poor and middle class and cut taxes even further on the rich. Ryan's plan is to end Medicare as we know it. They announce their partnership on the deck of a battleship, with red, white, and blue bunting in the background.

In short: They've declared war on the lower classes. Now they're announcing "Mission Accomplished." And they're pretty sure they'll be greeted as liberators.
