Happy Mother's Day to anyone appropriate. Hope it was a good one.
Had a nice time here. My sibs came with the kids, so I got some time with everyone.
I also learned this past Friday that my nephew's Star Wars story doesn't end with Episode VIII. In fact, he informed me that he plans to extend the story through Episode XII. Naturally, my first question was how that was possible if the Dark Side was destroyed by Light of Darth Luke (whose name I got wrong in the previous entry) at the end of Episode VIII. "Someone got bored," he told me, eyes shining. "'I have no one to fight!' So he turned to the Dark Side." Of course! It makes perfect sense.
Someday soon, I'm going to have to sit down with him and get the full story.
Meantime, he's taught himself to play the Star Wars theme song (or at least the opening measures of it) on the violin and piano. By ear. Next week, he'll work on the Imperial March.
