Keep seeing these ads for a mysterious new Gilette product to be announced on June 6. Which is 6/6. Which can only mean one thing: They're releasing a six-bladed disposable razor. Even though they've yet to actually show that more blades make anything better, they've been steadily adding one new blade every few years. Daily Show even did a feature with John Oliver last time. But it sells. So they're going to six. And heavily touting it with a trailer over a month early.

*sigh*

ETA: Just remembered that to get to 5 they actually stuck the fifth blade on the back. So you get the mysterious benefits of four blades (rather than two or three) but for the tricky places you can flip it over to get "the precision of one" (rather a good argument against the other four, seems to me). Almost curious now to find out where they put the sixth. Watch your fingers.
