1. Update to last year's plan:

54. THIS STEP INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK
55. Dude, that's not blank.
56. Fine, I'll cross it out.
57. Still not blank.
58. But... I... DAMMIT.
59. Ignore previous five steps.

There. 6 more steps. (Popped into my head as I was waking up today.) Which means... *counts* only 69 left to fill in. Huh.

2. Doonesbury preaches to the choir.

3. Over at [community profile] scans_daily, there's a post entitled Clark Kent, eat your heart out with a scan from a manga.

4. My older niece and nephew slept over yesterday, so I got to spend some time with them in the morning. That was fun. While I was hanging out with my niece in the kitchen, the screensaver (random slideshow from the "My Pictures" subfolders) popped up a pic of her from about 2 years ago. "Is that me? I look so young!" (She'll be 9 in a few months.)

5. Mom got me a Snuggie for Channukah. Which just seems... I dunno. Silly? I can't quite think of the right word. She says she passed it several times in the store without even considering it, and then it struck her that it might actually be useful for me. And, you know what? She has a point. I mean, I saw it in the closet a couple of days ago and thought "A Snuggie? Really? For whom? From where? Why? Who do we know who would get or want a Snuggie?" But once you put aside the cheesy informercial aspect of it... I do actually spend time curled up on the couch under a blanket, and it would be nice to have my hands free. I told Mom I'd keep it (she'd told me it was returnable before I unwrapped it), which made her inordinately pleased.

6. Speaking of the couch, when I'm on it, I sometimes pat the dog. He's learned, however, that when I'm at the computer, I tend to have both hands frustratingly occupied. He came into the room a little while ago, walked up to the couch, stood in front of it, caught my eye, and waggled his eyebrows at me. All in complete silence. I'm impressed with his eloquence. And sorry to have disappointed him.

7. I do believe I'm going to go try out my Snuggie. And give the dog some of the attention and affection he so clearly deserves.

Happy Chanukah! :)

(I made a Snuggie for my grandma last Christmas because she's always cold & always trying to wrap up in a blanket on the couch - she says she really likes it).

I'd forgotten about The Plan. *snickers* I just now got some of the humor in the backslash one. *snickers again* Most amusing.

That Snuggie looks really comfy. What color did you get?

Lol, you have a clever dog. Glad he gets some attention for such an eloquent performance. :)

Glad you liked. And that you got the backslash thing. So few did. Ah well.

Snuggie is comfy. And red. Red as a cape. ;)

Yes, he's smart. And cuddly. :)
