1. New comm: fibro, since I noticed a few people who are affected by fibromyalgia.

2. Poll over at nyc to hopefully help organize an Open Beta party. Interest so far has been light. I'm wondering if it'd be better to scrap it and take a train down to DC, where there seem to be more people. But hopefully the poll will bring out some more...

3. Considering suggesting an addition to the profile page: An optional box to describe your subscription/access policy. Thoughts? Not going to formally suggest it just now, since there are plenty of bigger fish to fry before Open Beta launch, but jotting this down as a reminder, and to get preliminary reactions from anyone who has them.

Do you know if anyone has started a comm to promote Open Beta celebration day? Maybe everyone's event just need a little PR?

I, for one, would appreciate an easy way to indicate subscription policy. I try to read through a profile to check for a member's preference before I subscribe but the info is not always there. If I can't find the info, sometimes I ask (and hope that I'm not spamming anyone) or I just go ahead and hit subscribe (hoping in this case that I'm not annoying anyone).

No, there isn't. And yeah, I had the same thought. Was hoping my dreamchasers post would be good enough. And I mentioned the NYC one in dw_community_promo. I dunno.

That addition on the profile page sounds like a good idea. Not essential of course, since you could always just make a section within your bio, but it might be nice to have as a more formalized thing.
