hatman: HatMan, my alter ego and face on the 'net (Default)

New sunglasses came in today. And, as it happens, I was wearing my Batman shirt.

I'm amused (but secretly excited) by how dangerous they look.

They fit well, shield my eyes from the wind, give me a full field of vision (I can see the rims of my regular glasses when I'm wearing them), and have dark polarized lenses.

Really, the only problem with them is that (despite the lack of red tinting) they make me feel too much like Scott Summers.

I figure it would make you feel more like Scott if it had red tinting. :D

Very cool look! I'd avoid you in a dark alley. *g*

*refrains from calling Paul a geek*

The Scott Summers-ness kind of clashes with the Batman-age. On the other hand, very cool.

Why would you refrain from that? Sure, I'm a nerd first and foremost, but you can't be a nerd without being at least a little geeky. And I must admit that getting biker goggle shades and thinking of them as a ruby quartz visor is rather geeky...

As far as clashing... Not necessarily. And, you know, It has actually happened before (more or less).

Anyway, glad you appreciate the (geeky) coolness.

Nothing. He's cool. It's just weird to feel like him, out here in what I'm forced to admit is the real world. ;)
