For those of you on my flist who read L&C fic but don't always bother checking the Challenge Fic folder...
I've got a little something there.
It doesn't seem to have sparked much interest. Which may well mean that it sucks. But on the off chance that what it really means is that no one reads the Challenge Fic folder, I'm posting here to bring it to your attention.

I think it's the timing that makes it seem like no one's interested. November, you know. Quite a few of us are doing this insane "little" thingy called NaNoWriMo and... seriously, this is going to eat up our time - our lives and our brains, too.
Heck, if I wasn't trying to rack up the word count on this NaNo story, I would so totally jump in to this challenge. (and let's not get into the fact that this NaNo story currently seems utterly uninspired and uninteresting to me and that iwannawriteaboutBatmaninsteadgoshdarnit!!)
/hopes the idea doesn't die, cause if this is still around come December, I'd totally be in. I mean... Tempus... Heeeeeee!! :)

I've got the beginning of a pilot rewrite sitting on my harddrive. It totally fits in. I'm going to modify it and post it right now.
I've been so "stuck" about what to do with this story. I think this is a sign! I'M IN.

That story was supposed to be a comedy where L & C meet (as you read) DURING an accident that happens immediately before her carjacking sting. The A plot was supposed to deat with her getting "found out" by the carjackers, and they were going to try to kill her to keep their operation a secret. The B plot was supposed to be: Lois trying to figure out what the deal is with Clark's powers since she sees him use them. Clark (initially) thinks Lois leads some kind of alternate lifestyle outside of work... HA. I guess I was never really sure where it was going! I think it works better with your premise!

And... NaNo... how could I have forgotten?? I mean, I knew a major portion of my flist was working on it, but didn't think to put that together with the idea that they wouldn't necessarily have time to write other stuff. D'oh.
Well, hopefully the story will still be around in Decemeber, and hopefully it'll have gone in a direction that tickles your muse. We'll see... :)
