Big news of the day is that we have a new iron. The old one was well past its operating life, held together with tape at the bottom and leaking water at the top. I heard the news a new iron was in the offing.
Me: "Alas, poor iron! Cast aside like so much junk, to be forgotten and replaced, to..."
Mom: *GLARE*
Me: "What? It's dramatic irony!"
