I was flipping through this week's NY Times magazine when an ad caught my eye. I'm curious to know if anyone else spots the same problem I do.

In large, bold letters, the ad asks: 'Hear the buzz?' A shiny red cylindrical object takes up most of the picture. Just below, the text continues: 'It's about the new Electric Rabbit.' Smaller print specifies that it's a corkscrew.

Larger version here.

It might just be that the same thing came up with my teenage cousins a while back (which was rather a surprise).

I'm kind of embarrassed to ask, actually, but are you thinking what I'm thinking?

If so, all you have to say is "Yes."

Although I do wonder if the people who made (and approved) the ad were aware. Was it intentional?
