Finally got to work on that toy for my nephew.
1. Running some calculations, I figured out that, in order to be in proper scale with the head of the Darth Vader plushie I'm planning to use, the finished body (with head) will wind up being about 3 feet tall. And that's after downscaling a bit. Bigger than I'd planned, but what can you do?
2. I have completed a boot! (On my second try; first attempt turned out to be way too narrow.)
3. In case you were wondering what Darth (or Chad) Vader is really made of:
