Recently, I've noticed that several people who are awesome seem to have lost sight of their awesomeness. It is most vexing.

Fortunately, there is an official list of People Who Are Awesome. You can find it near the bottom of this page.

Q: Are there People Who Are Awesome who aren't on that list?

A: Of course. There are many People Who Are Awesome who, for a wide variety of reasons, do not appear on the list. However, you may rest assured that anyone on the list is awesome.

Q: Wait a sec. I'm on that list. Isn't that -

A: No.

Q: But I -

A: No.

Q: But -

A: That list is official. Do not question the list.

Q: So the list is official? Doesn't that make you the official Arbiter of Awesomeness?

A: Yes. Deal with it.

I've been using Trillian for years. It's nice because it combines a whole host of IM services into one neat contact list with a universal interface.

Recently, they announced a sale, bringing the price down from $25 to $15. So I decided to buy.

Bad news is that the skins and plugins (available only to paid users) are way out of date and seem to do more harm than good with the current version of the program. Hopefully that will change.

Good news is that plugins aren't the only paid benefit. (Soon I might get to test out paid tech support to help me fix the plugin damage...)

Other good news is that I got a discount code allowing me to buy the pro version for someone else for a mere $5. Anyone interested?
