WIF?
There is snow in the driveway from the storm earlier this week which dumped about a foot of frozen water on the entire Northeast.
I step outside in a light coat, and... it's a sauna.
I know I explained this stuff to the people at Community Energy (who, sadly, never responded), but... WIF? The world suddenly woke up and realized today that it's (almost) Spring? Oops, not supposed to be freezing anymore. Better turn up the heat!
Except that it's supposed to be back down to the 40s on Monday. So... huh?
In any case...
Just wondering - did any of you understand that "Acute Clinical Guanoism" icon from a couple of entries back?
For the record, "chrioptera" is the scientific name for bats, and "guano" is bat (or bird) droppings.
It arose from a random convo in a chat room. Someone said that Lincoln was crazy. A couple of us explained that no, it was his wife, Mary Todd. The other guy who knew this said that she was batsh** crazy, and when someone suggested some other diagnosis (schizo or something, I forget) he said that no, she was technically batsh**. To which I, of course, responded, "Ah, yes. Clinical Guanoitis." And, of course, I had to make an icon of that first chance the next day.
Personally, I think the term "clinical guanoism" should totally be the next big internet meme. But somehow my awesome ideas keep failing to sweep into the global group consciousness. *sigh*
