Here's to the triumph of hope over fear.

Here's to government for the people, by the people, not corporations.

Here's to leadership that seeks out and listens to experts, whether they agree with the party line or not.

Here's to a candidate whose policies change with the circumstances, not whether he's running in the primaries or the general elections.

Here's to foreign policy that sees nuances and shades of gray, not "transcendent evil."

Here's to moving, finally, into the 21st century.

Here's to long-term solutions for our energy needs and our environment.

Here's to change, in the right direction.

Here's to history in the making.

Here's to a better, stronger United (purple) States of America.

If you're in the US and you're legally registered...

Don't forget to vote today!! This one's important.

333 and counting. Looks like he could break 360. Wow. Not just elected, but electoral landslide. This is amazing. And, as our current president said in his official call to the president-elect, it is "an awesome night." (Although, what was the deal with congratulating him and "his good bride"?)

Kudos to McCain for that concession speech. That was well said. Real class there. (Shame that he got booed for parts of it, though.)

In sum...

WOO-HOO!!

YES WE CAN!!
