Attention: FoLCs!

Hey, flist...

A few of you have mentioned, here, on AIM, or otherwise, that you're getting frustrated with the political threads on the boards.

The easy solution is to avoid those threads, but I know I've had trouble doing so, knowing what was almost certainly going on inside.

A couple of you have mentioned going to the boards less often, specifically because of those threads. At least one has said specifically that it'd be better if we banned politics altogether, so we could stay together as FoLCs and focus on our common interests.

But those have all been comments to your flist or to me as a friend or just in passing. Nothing I can point to as an official complaint to a moderator.

So I'm wondering what everyone thinks. Comments here are screened. You can also contact me via IM or email. And please do speak up, whatever you think. I want to get a feel for how many people are enjoying those threads, how many are avoiding them, how many think we should do without them, etc.

Also, if you find something offensive or disturbing or whatever, you can make an official complaint. To me or to the board admins.
