I was in the shower just now, trying to wake up (and get clean). (Yes, it's nearly 6pm, but I didn't manage to fall asleep until after 7am last "night"...)
Suddenly, I heard a sound. It was faint, muffled by the water, but it sounded like something growling or roaring.
I turned. Caught some movement out of the corner of my eye.
Looked out through the wavy glass of the shower door, but there was nothing at eye level.
I shook my head, wondering if I was imagining things.
Movement further down.
There was something in the room with me. While I was in the shower. I reacted. "Ack!"
More movement. A clearer picture of my attacker as he approached the glass.
A familliar mischeveous giggle came through the shower door. The blurry image resolved itself in my mind.
My nephew, staying over with us this weekend, had decided to pay me a visit.
Thankfully, he was gone before I opened the door, but he and Mom are laughing about it right now.
Well, at least I'm awake...
