Jury duty update

So, it turns out that a medical excuse from jury duty is an all or nothing thing. You either get excused entirely, or you've made a commitment to come in and not showing up means risking contempt of court charges. So I got a doctor's note and got myself excused. (Hopefully. I faxed the note in, but the office was closing. Hopefully, there won't be a problem with that.)

I'm a little disappointed, but I suppose it's for the best.

Yeah, Paul, I can understand your disapointment - would probably have been an interesting experience.
