Pictures from Minnesota

In other news, I got a very cool postcard in the mail today. Will have to scan & upload soon. But that'll have to wait for tomorrow.

Was that a Lego display in the Mall of America? We went to Lego-Land in Denmark and it was incredible. ♥

That was indeed a Lego display. They have a small store just outside the theme park, but there are some impressive sculptures in it. It's even mentioned in the AAA guidebook.

Still, the Lego store in Disney World's Downtown Marketplace trumps that. They've got a giant dinosaur (holding a dripping ice cream cone :) ), a full-size water dragon in the lake, and all sorts of stuff.

Oh, and FAO Shwartz in NYC currently has life-sized Hagrid, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Vader, Chewbacca, and a few others. Plus a scaled-down city block with working subway.

They really do some amazing things.

Yeah, in Denmark they had scale models of the Statue of Liberty, the White House, a European town... can't remember what else. It was AWESOME.

lol! I hadn't noticed that. But, you know, I did still have my S-shield belt buckle on.* So maybe that's not what they meant... ;)

*I always do, the day I'm due to fly.
