And... don't expect too much from Mystic Pizza. It's pizza. Smaller slices than usual, actually. But it's good pizza. Thick crust that's both crisp and spongy, with a bit of a unique tang. But it's still just pizza, you know? Pizza that's sold in a charming little New England town. Perfect for an afternoon stroll, as mentioned.
And the Seaport is really nice to explore. And the aquarium, if you're into aquariums. And don't forget Seamen's Inne, just outside the Seaport. October might be a little late for lunch on the back lawn, but it's great for dinner if you like typical New England fare (chowder, fish & chips, steak, etc.). There's a bar area (slightly cheaper and faster) or the main dining room (somewhat more elegant), both of which have the same offerings.
There's also an outlet mall, which may or may not be worth perusing. It's on the corner, near the road that goes back to the highway.
