So this ad about "non-24" has been showing up on my TV lately. (Apparently, there was also a radio spot. Which makes a lot of sense. But I don't listen to the radio very much these days.

On the one hand, it's kind of weird. I always knew my free running sleep schedule was primarily associated with people who are blind. No one knows why I don't respond to light cues. But it's still strange to see my little medical quirk advertised as something that only happens to the totally blind.

On the other hand, it's cool to see awareness of the issue being pushed on national TV. And, more importantly, a new drug that might just be able to fix it. (Of course, there are other things that are supposed to work on the same receptors, and they have not done well for me. But still... new thing to try!)

The video on their website (well, one of five different websites I've found for this thing so far) is longer and explains things better.

This is one of two new medications my sleep doctor will be trying me on. We'll see how it goes.
